Osaze Thrilled Stoke City Return
Stoke City forward Peter Odemwingie has spoken of his elation at returning from a hamstring injury.
The Nigeria international missed two months of football after tearing his hamstring while on duty with the Potters in October, after helping his team beat Chelsea on penalties in the English League Cup.
“Thanks guys. Was good to get a run out in the best stadium in the world. Boys said back from Siberia, I said Antarctica,” Odemwingie tweeted.
The 34-year-old watched from the stands as his side caged Norwich City 3-1 on Wednesday, and would be hoping to feature for Mark Hughes’s men when they welcome league leaders, Arsenal, to the Britannia on Sunday. Stoke City are seventh on the English topflight log with 32 points from 21 games.
